When you shop at the Maine Potters Market you are buying local pottery directly from the potter. Because we are a hands-on cooperative, most often you will find a potter in the store. We know pottery, and can help you find just the right piece to accent any room in your home, and help you select the perfect gift for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, or any special occasion. Pottery from the Maine Potters Market will be enjoyed for years to come.

The Maine Potters Market is located at 376 Fore Street in the heart of Portland's historic waterfront district, the Old Port.

For your convenience

• We're open year round, 7 days a week, with extended hours during the summer and holiday season.
• We offer Park & Shop stickers for nearby garages.
• Parking meters are free on Sunday
• We can safely pack and ship your pottery to the 48 contiguous states.

If you cannot shop with us in person, we can provide you with the same personalized customer service we offer at our store. Because our inventory changes frequently and variations can occur from one firing to the next, we don't accept online orders, so please email us at info@mainepottersmarket.com with your request. Please include the name of the potter, item, color and any other description you can offer. We will email you photos of the pieces that best fit your description. If you like what we have available, we will complete the transaction by phone.
